CON de Wereldschool werkt samen met verschillende schoolbesturen in de regio. Via SIKO participeren wij in een samenwerkingsconvenant met de Thomas More Hogeschool. Via Primo Schiedam participeren wij in een samenwerkingsconvenant met Hogeschool Rotterdam. Daarnaast bieden wij ook ruimte voor studenten van andere opleidingen.
Wij willen het beste uit de studenten halen door o.a. een goede begeleiding, intervisie, klassenbezoeken en coachende gesprekken. Ook willen wij de studenten het belang van meertaligheid binnen een basisschool meegeven.
Voor ons is het vanzelfsprekend dat studenten deel nemen aan alle activiteiten die in- en rond de school plaatsvinden.
Schoolopleider
Onze gecertificeerde schoolopleider houdt zich gedurende het schooljaar bezig met de volgende taken:
§ Aanspreekpunt studenten en mentoren binnen de scholen.
§ Bezoekt studenten in lessituaties en geeft hier feedback op, waar mogelijk i.s.m. de pabo-opleider.
§ Coachen en monitoren van studenten en (startende) leerkrachten.
§ Onderhouden van contact met de bovenschools schoolopleider.
§ Samen met andere schoolopleiders professionaliseren op het onderwerp ‘coachen op complexe vaardigheden’.
§ Organiseren van intervisiemomenten met studenten binnen de school.
§ Aanwezig bij overlegmomenten bovenschools en van Thomas More hogeschool
§ Voert m.b.v. van het kwaliteitskader start- en evaluatiegesprekken met pabo-opleider TMH, directie en bovenschools schoolopleider.
§ Houdt administratie bij zoals o.a. de toestemmingsformulieren en stageplein.

CON de Wereldschool collaborates with various school boards in the region. Through SIKO, we participate in a collaborative agreement with Thomas More University of Applied Sciences. Through Primo Schiedam, we participate in a collaborative agreement with Rotterdam University of Applied Sciences. Additionally, we also provide opportunities for students from other educational institutions.
We aim to bring out the best in students through effective guidance, peer coaching, classroom visits, and coaching sessions. We also emphasize the importance of multilingualism within a primary school setting to our students. It is essential for us that students participate in all activities within and around the school.
School Supervisor
Our certified school supervisor is involved in the following tasks throughout the school year:
- Acting as a point of contact for students and mentors within the schools.
- Visiting students in classroom settings and providing feedback, where possible in collaboration with the university of applied sciences (pabo) supervisor.
- Coaching and monitoring students and (newly qualified) teachers.
- Maintaining contact with the overarching school supervisor.
- Collaborating with other school supervisors to enhance professional skills in coaching on complex competencies.
- Organizing peer coaching sessions with students within the school.
- Attending meetings at the overarching level and with Thomas More University of Applied Sciences.
- Conducting start and evaluation discussions using the quality framework with the pabo supervisor from TMH, management, and overarching school supervisor.
- Maintaining administrative records such as consent forms and internship placements.
